you don’t have to finish it

The book you’re reading that you’re not enjoying, or the show you’re watching that makes you want to fall fast asleep, or something a bit more serious like the project that’s been on-going without progress or desire,

you can stop and not finish. Finishing for the sake of completion or commitment can be a form of habit or even pride. You are not a quitter. No matter what. But, the qualities we admire about starting something are the same qualities needed for quitting - wisdom, bravery, and of course time.

Take your time seriously. Quit something that’s not adding value to your life.
